Week Four - Puppy Playland
This is always my favorite phase. First we get Puppy Playland all set up and ready for business...

Nemo, and the Purple Bunny (hiding behind Nemo), and the play tent are standard stock items in Puppy Playland. "Grandma" Caroline (Lucah's owner) provided all the rest of the toys. I just love the "immunity idol" she has chosen. Oh, I guess that is actually a sausage pull toy. I think I might be watching too much Survivor! Well, Puppy Playland is clean and ready for pups!

Orange Boy was the first pup to be lifted down onto Puppy Playland surface. A little dazed, he wandered around until he came to the tent. He gave us full approval after chewing the corner.

The play tent was a new addition to Puppy Playland last litter. After attending a breeder's seminar, learning how important it is to challenge and stimulate the pups at an early age, we went to Toys-R-Us to see what we could find. So far, the pups really seem to be curious about all the dangling, hanging toys, swinging gate, etc. And Nemo is always a huge hit for the pups to check out. Orange Boy is complementing him on his choice of color!

I think Orange Boy is really intrigued with Puppy Playland. He walked over to see what his "real" (maternal) Grandma Hedy thinks. She says, "Oh Honey, I've seen Puppy Playland before, I just want to give you a big kiss!" It is too bad I didn't have a video of this meeting. Hedy is "wiggle butting" and wagging her tail so fast. She would just love to get in and play with him. Mo, on the other hand looks on, concerned. He is probably thinking that he may need to share the Futon in the kitchen with someone new! The other pups joined Orange Boy and then he snuggled up for a much needed puppy nap!
